Getting here
The clinic is on Street 1 Rd in Rohail Khand Society, just off Shaheed-e-Millat Road and a minute from Hill Park General Hospital — central, and reachable from most of the city without crossing it. Street parking is available. The map below opens directions in Google Maps.
Come a few minutes early for a first appointment. The initial session is where the clinical decisions get made, and it is better not to start it out of breath.
What you can do at this clinic
Psychological assessment
PECHS is where PHC's assessment work is based. A psychological assessment is a structured clinical process using internationally validated tests to produce a written report on how a person thinks, learns, processes emotion and functions day to day. Every assessment begins with an initial session that determines which tests are clinically warranted — you will not be given tests you do not need.
IQ testing, learning and achievement assessment including dyslexia and dysgraphia, neurodevelopmental assessment for ADHD and autism, personality assessment, neuropsychological assessment, emotional assessment and symptom screening, and aptitude and career assessment.
Psychotherapy
CBT, DBT, REBT, EMDR, trauma-informed therapy, hypnotherapy and NLP, matched to what you have come in with rather than to availability. Individual, couples, family and group sessions, and play therapy for children under 7. Sessions are 50 minutes, in clinic or online.
Clinical supervision
PECHS is the base for PHC's clinical supervision programme, approved by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and led personally by Prof. Dr. Tahira Yousaf. It is structured, case-based supervision for MPhil and PhD psychology students and practising mental health professionals who need HEC-compliant oversight — not a workshop and not a short course. The internship programme runs from here too.
Who you would see at PECHS
Samrah Abdul Rafey, Hassaan Ahmed Pasha and Nabiha Rasheed work at both of our clinics, on different days. Our other psychologists are usually here at PECHS, and see people at DHA where that is the closer clinic for them. The day-to-day schedule is set around the people each psychologist is already seeing, so tell us what suits you when you get in touch and we will tell you who is at which clinic, and when, before anything is booked.
Every psychologist at PHC holds a minimum postgraduate qualification in clinical psychology and over 800 supervised clinical hours before joining; most hold an MPhil or a PhD, and experience on the team ranges from 3 to 24 years. Psychologists are assigned by speciality and by your presenting needs. Tell us what is going on when you get in touch and we will tell you who you would be seeing before you pay anything.
Questions about the PECHS clinic
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Appointment only. Walk-ins are not accommodated at either clinic. Message us on WhatsApp or call, and we will check availability and confirm a fee before anything is paid.
Is this the clinic Dr Tahira works from?
PECHS is PHC's original clinic and the base for our assessment work and for clinical supervision. Which psychologist you see is decided by speciality and by what you have come in with, so ask when you book and we will tell you directly.
Do you see children here?
Yes. PHC works with children, adolescents, adults and the elderly, and play therapy for children under 7 runs from this clinic in a structured clinical setting.
Can I have my first session online and come in later?
Yes. Sessions are available by audio or video on the platform you prefer, and moving between online and in-clinic sessions is normal. The same clinical standards apply either way.
The other clinic, and online
Our DHA clinic in Phase 8, Zone A is the home of the Hypno-yoga programme and also offers assessment and therapy. Online sessions are available across Pakistan, including Islamabad and Lahore, and to clients overseas — PHC works with international clients across Australia, the UK, Germany, Kuwait, Canada, the US and beyond.

Message us on WhatsApp, call the clinic, or use the booking page. To match you to the right psychologist we need six details: patient name, age, presenting issue, preferred psychologist gender, whether you want online or in-person sessions, and whether the patient is a minor or elderly. If someone else is paying, we need guardian or payer information too. Fees vary by psychologist and by service and are confirmed before payment; a slot is confirmed once advance payment has been received. Payment is by bank transfer or cash.
