Approaches used

These are the approaches Aymen's own profile names — no more than that.

  • Play Therapy
  • Behavioral Therapy
  • DBT
  • Psychoanalytic Therapy
  • Gestalt Therapy
  • Art Therapy
  • Humanistic Therapy
  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Special needs and developmental support

In Aymen's own words:

"Working with children through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavioral interventions, and art therapy to support communication, behavior, emotional regulation, social skills, and independence."

Art therapy and play therapy give a child a way to work at something without having to put it into sentences first. Applied Behavior Analysis and behavioural interventions run in the other direction — structured, agreed in advance and reviewed against what actually changes.

Adults, couples and eight trainings

Alongside the children's work, their stated areas of specialisation cover anxiety, depressive and personality disorders, trauma and PTSD, relationship and marital concerns, eating disorders and sleep-related issues.

Eight therapeutic approaches are listed above, which is a wide range for five years in practice and the reason they are matched to a broad set of presentations. What that means in a session is that the approach is chosen for the person rather than the person being fitted to the one approach the psychologist happens to know: play and art therapy for a child, DBT where emotional regulation is the problem to be worked on, psychoanalytic, Gestalt and humanistic work where the question is a longer one.

Sessions are 50 minutes, in clinic in Karachi or online. Which clinic and which times are confirmed when you book — psychologists are matched on speciality and presenting needs, not on who happens to be free.

You can ask for Aymen by name when you send your details, and we will tell you plainly whether there is a slot and who else fits if there is not. Booking at PHC starts as an enquiry rather than a confirmed appointment: we come back to you by phone or on WhatsApp with a psychologist, a time and a fee, and nothing is charged until you have agreed to all three.

Everything on this page is general information about a member of our clinical team. It is not a diagnosis, not treatment, and reading it does not create a clinician–client relationship.

Speaking to someone starts here

PHC is appointment-only. Message or call and a real person answers — Monday to Saturday, 10am to 8pm PKT.

Not sure whether this is us? Contact us anyway. We will tell you directly whether we can help, and refer you elsewhere if we cannot.

Six details, and we can match you

  • Name of the person who will attend
  • Their age
  • What is going on, in your own words
  • Whether you would prefer a male or female psychologist
  • Online, or in clinic in Karachi
  • Whether the person attending is a minor or elderly

If someone else is paying, we will also ask for guardian or payer details. A slot is held once the booking payment is received — half the fee, at least 24 hours ahead.
